i have been extremely busy ever since the start of the year. i used to blog about yummy food and restaurants at least once a month, but i have stopped this habit for more than nearly 5 months!
on sat night, i felt hungry suddenly. i have heard people raving about this MEE SUA place at the east for quite some time. but it's so far from my place!! so never had a chance to go there and try. well, i am so glad i did move my lazy ass out at 1230am to Changi Road for this yummy mee sua. by the time we reached there, it was still very crowded!!! everyone was slurping on the soup and mee sua, plus, perspiring like mad!!
anyway, the soup base is similar to bah kut teh, but towards the more herbal taste. i had the "liver & lean meat" mee sua. put a few slices of cut chilli and soaked in the soup. WOW! POWER!!! the soup tasted really spicy. it was delicious!! heavenly! the meat are really fresh and the liver dun have those "powdery" texture. i prefer thin slices of liver as compared to those thick and fat ones.
we din had a chance to try other dishes because it was really late and we din want to eat too much!! be sure i will head down again to try the popular "black herbal chicken soup" and "steam fish head"!!
