5 of Singapore's most promising Dragon Boat enthusiasts lost their lives in the tragic accident in Cambodia. The Straits Times today featured all the deceased, and as i read through the articles, I felt the pain and loss of their loved ones. i am sure each and every one of us reading the news will feel the sharp pain. The pictures are heart-wrenching, especially one that showed the police in Cambodia trying to carry one of the bodies to the shore. The news on tv showed clips of the family members and loved ones howling for the boys to come home, crying and shouting. It's really sad. All of them are described by their friends and families as filial, sports enthusiasts, cheerful, bubbly, humourous, loyal and the list goes on. I really hope they can find their way safely, as a team, to a happier place and continue to follow their dreams. May God Bless them and protect them where-ever they are. My deepest sympathy and condolences to their families, friends and loved ones. Let us all observe a minute of silence.

- received an email from SIM. showed a lists of participants from our school to the Cambodia Dragon Boat competition. and i saw Stanley's name. Was glad that he is safe. decided to sms him, and asked him to take care. and he replied me. Stanley is my coursemate. He was the one who gave me tips for HMT. Even though i know him for less than 6 mths, he left an impression as a very dedicated dragon boat enthusiast. Hope all goes well for him.

- so many negative things have been happening for the past 1-2 weeks. I have been bottling it inside, and trying to avoid all these. finally, i broke down and cried just a couple of days back. after crying, i felt a sense of relief. i din feel as tensed up already. quarreling with my mother din make things better, but all is good now. we have since both made up.
