immediately after work. got a call frm my sis.
my ah-gong (grand-dad) fainted.
rushed home. cuz it sounded really serious and bad.
she called again when i was on the bus.
ambulance came to pick him up.
i was still calm. still okay.
just thot, maybe...all is fine.
then i decided to go up to my ah gong's hse.
at the lift, i saw him on the stretcher.
with the oxygen mask.
he was in a dazed. he couldnt talk.
i cried. and cried. and i shouted "ah gong".
he looked at me. without any expression on his face.
but before i could touch him, he was wheeled away.
my sis told me he stopped breathing. for abt 1 min.
everyone rushed home. was shouting for his name.
he just could not reply and react.
grandma thot, he was going to leave us.
grandma said..."dun shout his name anymore, let him go..."
my sis called the ambulance. she was the only calm one.
the when they came, my ah gong started breathing again.
but they were slow long breaths.
followed the ambulance to A&E.
dad said, "too many pple, the kids go home".
so he drove us home again.
but before we left, we were told ah gong is going to be fine.
he's a lucky old man to have survived this.
pls do not bring my ah gong away.
he may be mean at times.
demanding this and that.
but afterall, he's still my grand-dad.
and i dun want him to go.
